What is THCA?

THCA is the precursor to Delta 9 THC. Signified by the “A” in THCA. THCA becomes Delta 9 THC through heating, which also gives it a psychoactive effect. Without heating, THCA does not have any effects. Therefore, when heated THCA becomes regular Delta 9 THC and has the strength and effects of the THC we all know and love.

What is Hemp?

Hemp CBD is derived from the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. It impacts the psyche, often in beneficial ways and does not impair mental or physical function in most people. CBD can be considered psychoactive, but non-impairing. Many consumers are likely to feel relaxed, focused, and resilient to stress. A consumer does not need to be treating a medical condition in order to benefit from CBD.

What is CBD?

Cannabinoids are the main chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBD & THC are just two of over 120 cannabinoids that have been identified in cannabis. The human body has receptors for cannabinoids called the CB1 and CB2 receptors. All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to these receptors found in the human body Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

What is the Endocannabinoid System?

The human Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is responsible for maintaining homeostasis in the human body. Receptors in the ECS are located in many areas of the body and help regulate functions such as sleep, mood, pain, metabolism, immune-system responses, appetite, reproduction & stress.

Is Hemp CBD Legal?

MIHI products are legal in all 50 US states. It’s important to understand that Hemp Oil is NOT the same as cannabis oil, despite them being made from the same plant, just different parts and therefore have different levels of CBD and THC. Cannabis CBD Oil is usually made up of between 5%-10% THC (psychoactive effects ), while Hemp oil contains 0-2% THC. Our Isolate CBD contains 0.00% THC.

How is CBD taken?

CBD can be delivered and introduced into your body through numerous forms. Today, there is a wide range of CBD products including; CBD oil, tinctures, edibles, syrups, salves, gelcaps and capsules. You can also vape specific CBD oils (make sure to select a blend that is designed to be vaped.) There is a 98% absorption rate with CBD oil and tinctures because the CBD gets absorbed directly into the bloodstream, especially when administered sublingually.

What Can CBD Help With?

It’s important to understand that there is currently no scientific research proving that CBD can cure disease, and also important to know is that we do not make any medicinal or healing claims or that our products do as much. Will CBD Get Me High?

Nope! Unlike THC, CBD (cannabidiol) is non-psychoactive.

Will I Fail a Drug Test?

Although very unlikely, it is possible to fail a drug test for the presence of THC with the use of Full Spectrum products. THC is present in very small amounts (< .3%) in Full Spectrum hemp extracts.
